SIM Library
Every VTC subscription includes access to a growing catalogue of medical XR simulations — built by ORamaVR and by institutions who have shared their content. Deploy immediately, no build time required.
Available simulations
From solo procedural practice to multi-team crisis response — MAGES simulations cover the scenarios your training programme needs most.
Step-by-step TKA simulation with JARIA guidance. Covers positioning, exposure, resection, trialling, and implantation. 24 steps, multiple error states.
Full robotic surgical system docking and configuration simulation. Arms, draping, instrument loading, and pre-procedure checks.
Multi-user team training for in-hospital cardiac arrest. Role assignment, CPR, defibrillation, medication, and communication all tracked by JARIA.
Free-form diagnostic consultation with child and parent avatars. History-taking, physical examination, and clinical reasoning — no fixed step order.
Fluoroscopy workflow training covering C-arm positioning, image optimisation, and radiation dose management for orthopaedic procedures.
Over 100 computational medical XR simulations across surgical, diagnostics, and therapeutic specialties. New simulations added as ORamaVR and partner institutions build and contribute.
Build your own →How simulations are validated
Every simulation in the MAGES library has been developed and validated against clinical standards. We do not publish content that has not been reviewed by subject matter experts.
Every simulation is built with the direct involvement of a subject matter expert — a top-tier instructor or specialist in their field. Each SME validates the procedural steps, the visual representation, and the interaction design to ensure they correspond accurately to real clinical practice. No simulation goes live without their sign-off.
Every simulation in the library has a publication behind it. Many have been the subject of clinical trials, providing independent evidence of learning outcomes and clinical impact. See our Evidence page for the full list of studies and publications.
We work in ongoing collaboration with our SME teams to review and update simulation content as clinical guidelines evolve, new evidence emerges, or procedures change. VTC subscribers always have access to the most current version — without needing to rebuild anything.
Contribute to the library
Whether you build the simulation yourself in MAGES Creator, or commission us to build it for you through MAGES SIM Builder — once it's done, it's yours. You can publish it to the VTC marketplace, set your own terms, and earn licensing revenue every time another institution deploys it.
