ORamaVR SA (“ORamaVR”) publishes this Proprietary Technology Notice to identify categories of its technology that constitute trade secrets and proprietary information protected under Swiss law — including Article 6 of the Federal Act against Unfair Competition (UCA) and the Federal Act on Data Protection — and under EU Directive 2016/943 on the protection of undisclosed know-how and business information (the “Trade Secrets Directive”). Publication of this notice is one of the reasonable steps ORamaVR takes to maintain the secrecy of its proprietary technology for the purposes of applicable trade-secret law. Current version published at: oramavr.com/legal/proprietary-technology-notice.
The following categories of ORamaVR technology are designated as trade secrets and proprietary information. Access to any of the following is granted only under written licence agreements containing express prohibitions on competitive use, reverse engineering, benchmarking, and prompt-layer observation.
(a) The neurosymbolic action-graph architecture and scene-graph engine underlying ORamaVR Creator and the VTC Platform, including the procedural simulation authoring methodology and multi-platform deployment pipeline.
(b) The JARIA knowledge-base design: the IFU-grounding methodology, step-deviation detection logic, competency-reporting architecture, and corpus-capacity configuration approach (including JARIA+).
(c) The OMEN prompt-engineering design: agent-orchestration logic, generative AI workflow architecture for XR simulation authoring, and inter-component API design.
(d) The ORamaVR Medical 3D Asset Library: catalogue composition, procedural model architecture, clinical accuracy methodology, tagging schema, and production pipeline.
(e) The nine-stage Custom SIM milestone production methodology: production workflow design, quality-gate criteria, revision-round mechanics, and IEC 62304 integration approach at Elite tier.
(f) The JARIA+ corpus-capacity configuration methodology and token-optimisation approach for expanded IFU and reference-document corpora.
ORamaVR applies the following measures to maintain the secrecy of its proprietary technology:
(a) Access to all internal systems is restricted by role-based access controls and is monitored.
(b) All employees and contractors with access to proprietary technology are bound by written non-disclosure obligations.
(c) Access to ORamaVR products is granted only under written licence agreements that prohibit competitive use, reverse engineering, benchmarking, and prompt-layer observation (see Section 4).
(d) Technical protection measures — including UUID watermarking and embedded identifiers — are applied to Asset Library Files under the Asset Library Licence (OVR-ASSET-LIC-001).
(e) The OMEN authoring co-pilot operates on a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) architecture for text features, limiting ORamaVR’s own exposure of the prompt layer.
Access to ORamaVR products is conditional on acceptance of agreements containing express prohibitions on misappropriation of the proprietary technology described in Section 2. The principal instruments are:
OVR-CRE-001 (Creator Pro EULA) §§2.4, 2.5, 2.6, 4.1.2(f), 7.2 — competitor representation, OMEN prompt-layer prohibition, competitive-use and benchmarking prohibitions.
OVR-ASSET-LIC-001 (Asset Library Licence) Articles 5 and 6 — Asset Library prohibited uses and technical protection measures.
OVR-MSA-001 (OEM Master Agreement) §§6.1, 6.3 and 7.5 — Background Technology retained by ORamaVR, embedded Background Technology licensed (not assigned) in Customer Derivative Works, and trade-secret confidentiality for as long as trade-secret protection subsists.
OVR-MSA-002 (Direct MSA) §§6.1, 6.3 and 7.3 — Background Technology retained by ORamaVR, embedded Background Technology licensed (not assigned) in Customer SIMs, and trade-secret confidentiality for as long as trade-secret protection subsists.
OVR-POL-004 (Acceptable Use Policy) §§4(b), 4(j), 4(k), 5.1 — competing-use, benchmarking, and prompt-observation prohibitions.
This notice does not create any new obligations on any third party beyond those already set out in the applicable product agreement between that party and ORamaVR. It supplements and does not replace contractual confidentiality or IP obligations. Nothing in this notice constitutes a waiver of any right or remedy available to ORamaVR under applicable law or contract.
ORamaVR may update this notice from time to time to reflect changes in its technology or applicable law. The current version is always published at oramavr.com/legal/proprietary-technology-notice. Updates do not require counterparty consent.
